Using the badge #

The NeoInfinity badge should now be ready for use. Plug it into your chosen power source and see it light up. Repeatedly click the button on the back of the badge to cycle through its different animation speeds, color sets and animation patterns. With the default configuration, there are 27 combinations to cycle through. By holding down the button, the badge will switch to an entirely white pattern and start increasing its brightness. When the brightness reaches maximum, it will reset down to minimum brightness again. Selected pattern and brightness are saved to the EEPROM as soon as it is set, this means the badge will keep its configuration between being powered off.

By gluing a small clothespin or similar to the back of the badge makes it easy to attach to a shirt pocket or on a conference badge. The attached battery can then be put into the shirt pocket or mounted behind the badge. A 500 mAh battery should last for a day.
